As a NYC public school we follow the NYC scope and sequence consisting of a spiraled curriculum of Earth, Physical, and Life sciences in progression throughout grades 6-8. Students navigate though different topics of each discipline using our Amplified Science platform. Amplify uses real life situation and simulations to challenge students to apply the content they are learning to real world scenarios. Amplify Science is a complete virtual platform that gives students access during the school day, as well as after school hours to the core content and curriculum activities and resources, Amplify Science blends hands-on investigation, literacy-rich activities, and interactive digital tools to empower students to think, read, write, and argue like real scientists and engineers.
